Timeless Limewash
Kalkpaint is a natural paint with an original, classic European character. It is a powdered lime paint made from 100% natural minerals (earth). Mixed with water and brushed on, it dries as minerals rise along each brushstroke, leaving a soft, refined pattern.
It is almost odourless, so rooms can be used again right after painting, and it keeps walls breathable for a fresher space. A VOC-free natural paint that is kinder to people, pets and buildings.

- Because the finish is matt, colour can look different depending on lighting and daylight. Check the colour card included with your order before you start.
- One colour gives a calm, luxurious classic mood; mixing or layering 2–3 colours creates a more dimensional pattern with its own character.

- As a water-based product, drying time varies with temperature and humidity.

FAQ
How long between coats?
We recommend at least 2–4 hours. Drying can take longer depending on temperature, humidity and the surface. Avoid contact with water for at least 10 days so the paint can settle.
How long does it keep?
Mixed Kalkpaint should be used within a year when stored in an airtight container. Kept dry, the powder lasts for years. The primer should be used within 14 days of mixing, or within a year as powder.
Can I use it on furniture?
Yes, after suitable preparation for the piece. A water-based matt top coat is recommended against wear and stains; the colour may deepen slightly after coating.

How to use
Prepare
Remove dust and grease from the wall.
Protect
Mask the floor and the edges of surfaces you are not painting.
Mix
Mix product and water at 1:1.7 for about 10 minutes until smooth.
First coat
Apply with the Kalkpaint brush in random, irregular strokes.
Second coat
Once dry, apply a second coat the same way, 2–4 hours later.
Store
Cover leftover mixed paint and stir well before using again.
