Kalkpaint
The same colour dries differently depending on the direction and overlap of each stroke. The result is a wall with tonal movement instead of a flat surface.
Guide
Remove dust and grease from the wall.
Mask the floor and the edges of surfaces you are not painting.
Mix product and water at 1:1.7 for about 10 minutes until smooth.
Apply with the Kalkpaint brush in random, irregular strokes.
Once dry, apply a second coat the same way, 2–4 hours later.
Cover leftover mixed paint and stir well before using again.

FAQ
A powdered mineral paint made from lime, produced by Kalklitir in Belgium and also called lime wash or lime paint. It is mixed with water and brushed on for a matte, natural texture.
It comes as a powder instead of a liquid, and because it is lime-based the wall stays breathable and regulates moisture. It is applied with a brush, so strokes and tonal variation remain visible.
Mix the powder with water and apply two coats with a natural-bristle brush. On new or previously painted walls, the primer is recommended first.
On interior walls such as living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms, and on exterior walls.
